Blazed Ninja
Brand Creative Brief

01
Brand Positioning
"Blazed ninja is me — I get blazed and I play mostly ninja games."
Mars — Questionnaire Q1.3 — April 28, 2026
Brand Name
Blazed Ninja
Confirmed by client. Self-authored and meaningful.
Primary Handle
@blazedninja
Available across all platforms. Register Twitch first.
Core Identity
Good vibes. Real person. No pretense.
Fun-first, community-focused, unapologetically himself.
Tagline (client-authored)
"Blazed and dazed — come look thru the haze and be amazed"
Raw, rhythmic, distinctly his. Use verbatim in bio copy.
02
Brand Voice & Personality
What Mars said — synthesized into brand direction
Direct from questionnaire. Raw inputs, strategic outputs.
Core purpose
"Good vibes. Just having fun. Enjoying the games I play so I like to share the joy." → Brand is joy-forward, not performance-forward. Stream is invitation, not showcase.
Identity
"It me." → Blazed Ninja is a persona, not a character. Mars isn't playing a role — he is the brand. Authenticity is the product.
Chat tone
"Fun. Engaged. Free to talk trash but respectfully." → Open, unfiltered, no-judgment zone. Community rules enforce respect, not sterility.
Community vision
"I want like-minded people who enjoy the same thing — not getting too mainstream." → Depth over breadth. Quality community, not follower count vanity. Niche is the goal.
Differentiation
"I don't judge. I'm not deeply involved with mainstream. I keep it simple and real. I play games to have fun." → This is the positioning. Anti-performative. Low-ego. The antidote to the grind-culture streamer.
Competitors
"I can't say I'm competition — I watch their streams and have a good time too." → Community-minded, not adversarial. Collab-friendly by default. Use this in bio language.

Copy direction: Mars speaks casually and authentically. All copy — bio, channel panels, stream titles — should echo his voice: punchy, lowercase-friendly, no corporate polish. "Blaze with us" not "Join our community." Use his tagline verbatim where possible — it's genuinely good.

03
Target Audience
Primary Audience
Who they are
18+ stoners, dad gamers
People who play games to unwind, not to rank up. The audience that shows up after work or after the kids go to bed.
Why they stay
No ego in the room. Content is calm, fun, and skill-visible without being intimidating.
Age range
18+ — skewing late 20s–40s based on "dad gamer" flag.
Short-Term Growth Targets
Twitch
30 real followers
Mars's own milestone. Set the bar honest — not inflated.
Per video
15 views per video
Attainable and meaningful at launch phase.
Affiliate path
50 followers, 500 broadcast min, 3 avg concurrent viewers.
TikTok gate
1,000 followers to unlock TikTok LIVE. Clip pipeline drives this.
04
Content & Streaming
Game Lineup
All three are combat/ninja-adjacent — excellent brand coherence with the Blazed Ninja identity
Primary
Naraka: Bladepoint — Full-time focus. Melee combat battle royale with a heavy Asian martial arts aesthetic. Perfect alignment with "ninja games" identity. High skill ceiling = clip-worthy moments.
Secondary
Black Desert Online — MMORPG with deep combat. Visual richness good for content variety.
Upcoming
Crimson Desert — Open-world action RPG from Pearl Abyss (same studio as Black Desert). Anticipated 2025–2026 launch. Early streaming opportunity for discovery growth.
Schedule
Daily · 3–5 hours per session
High consistency. Good for algorithm. Confirm overlap with Twitch Affiliate broadcast minimums (500 min/30 days = covered in 3 days at this schedule).
Streamer type
All four checked: Competitive/Skill-focused, Chill/Variety, Funny/Personality-driven, Educational/Tips. → Range is a strength. Content strategy should rotate between these modes intentionally.

Naraka alignment note: Naraka: Bladepoint is arguably the most on-brand game choice possible for Blazed Ninja. It's a melee-focused battle royale with ninja, samurai, and martial arts characters. The game's aesthetic and the brand's aesthetic are the same world. This should be the face of the content brand.

05
Visual Direction

Direction update — May 2026: Following a creative session with Marrs, the visual direction has been fully anchored to the VTube avatar. The avatar IS the brand. Every visual decision — palette, style, iconography, overlay design, motion graphics — derives from the confirmed character design. Previous references to feudal shinobi, ninja mask motifs, and dark-ink/charcoal aesthetics are retired. This section replaces the original v1.0 Visual Direction in full.

"I want it in English but in Japanese style."
Mars — Questionnaire Q1.4 — April 28, 2026 — now expressed as: confirmed anime art style
The Avatar — Brand Foundation & Primary Identity Asset
All visual direction derives from this character design. Confirmed by Marrs in May 2026 session.
Art Style
Anime — confirmed. Character rendered in a vibrant, expressive anime style. Reference visual language: Jujutsu Kaisen / Demon Slayer line weight and color saturation; My Hero Academia character energy and pose dynamism. Bold black outlines, cel-shading, exaggerated expression range. This is not a graphic or illustration — this is the character. Treat accordingly across all brand touchpoints.
Character Design
Face-forward. No mask. Identity is visible.
Physical signature: Black male; dreadlocks with honey/auburn tips; goatee; gold grills; gold earring.
Outfit: Red/black varsity jacket (graphic tee underneath, brand typography on chest), ripped black jeans with tactical straps and chain, Air Jordan 1s (red/black/white).
Energy: Charismatic, welcoming, confident. Character reads as "good vibes host" not "silent assassin." The persona matches the voice — Mars IS the character.
Poses / Expressions
Multiple confirmed: neutral standing, smile, wink, open-arms welcome, finger-guns, close-up wink, gaming room full-body.
Expression system is part of the brand language — poses communicate to audience (welcome, hype, reaction, sign-off). Continue developing with this intentionality.
Environmental Context
Gaming room aesthetic confirmed in background scenes: checkered floor, anime wall posters, neon signs, Gengar plush, warm ambient lighting. Speech bubble and sparkle effects used as graphic elements. "Good Vibes Only" neon and "Subscribe & Slay!" are in-world brand language — usable as overlay copy and panel text.
Color Palette — Confirmed from Avatar
Palette is no longer open. Derived from character design. No client decision required.
Primary Red
#CC1111 range — varsity jacket, shoe accents, jacket stripes, primary brand color. Dominant in all branded contexts. High-energy, anime-vibrant — not dark or muted.
Primary Black
#0D0D0D / near-black — jacket sleeves, jeans, background void, overlay base. Provides grounding and contrast against red.
Primary White
#FFFFFF — shoe base, highlights, text, outline elements. Clean contrast against black.
Accent Purple
#7B4FBF range — lavender/violet — atmospheric energy: smoke, chi, aura, background sparkle. Used in dynamic and animated contexts, not as a flat solid. This is the "blaze" energy color.
Accent Warm
Amber/honey — dreadlock tips, warm room lighting in environmental scenes. Secondary organic accent.
Usage Rule
Red/black/white = primary brand system for all structural elements. Purple = energy, motion, and effects layer. Amber = warmth and human layer. Purple is atmospheric — do not flatten it into a solid brand color.
Brand Words — Verbatim from Mars
Visual design should embody all simultaneously — now read through the anime character lens
Client words
Raw Fun Tactical Cinematic
"Feeling: Like it's time to giggle." — The avatar delivers this. The character's energy IS the emotional north star made visual.
Typography
Anime Title Treatment
  • Display type should evoke anime series title cards — bold, expressive, high-impact stroke weight
  • Reference: JJK opening titles, Naraka Bladepoint UI, Demon Slayer episode cards
  • Glitch treatment retained where used — but in service of anime energy, not dark-tech aesthetic
  • Avoid: rounded/bubbly fonts, generic esports condensed type, corporate gaming aesthetic
Iconography
Avatar-Derived Mark System
  • Primary icon mark: character head or bust — avatar thumbnail, emote, sticker, overlay bug
  • Secondary mark: the menacing face emblem (on pants/rug in scenes) — strong standalone symbol
  • Wordmark: "BLAZED NINJA" in anime display type — primary lockup
  • Kuni and ninja mask motifs: retired as primary direction; secondary detail elements only if used
Mood & Atmosphere
Vibrant · Warm · Anime Energy
  • Vibrant: saturated color, bold linework, expressive poses — not dark or brooding
  • Warm: gaming room ambience, good vibes energy — invitation not intimidation
  • Anime energy: dynamic composition, sparkle effects, action lines, comic panel elements
  • Cultural touchstones: streetwear, sneaker culture, anime fandom, Black identity — all intentional in avatar design
Overlay Design
Avatar-Integrated Scenes
  • Stream Starting / Intermission: avatar as character in motion — anime-style animation, smoke/chi effects in purple
  • Gameplay overlay: border elements draw from avatar's visual world (red/black/white, anime graphic energy)
  • All scene assets platform-agnostic — built for Lightstream, portable to any future stack
  • Cam frame, chat frame, alerts: consistent with avatar character's color system
Emote System
Expression-Based Emotes
  • Avatar expression range maps directly to Twitch/Discord emote set
  • Confirmed expressions: neutral, smile, wink, open arms, finger guns, close-up wink
  • Each expression = one Twitch emote candidate minimum
  • Emote names in Marrs's voice: blazeHype, blazeWink, blazeLit, blazeVibe, etc.
Merch Readiness
Character as Product
  • Avatar character design is inherently merch-ready — sticker packs, apparel graphics, poster prints
  • Maintain source files for all character poses at full resolution
  • Red/black/white = strong 3-color print system; purple as spot color option
  • Character silhouette (dreadlocks + varsity jacket) is instantly recognizable at small scale — pins, patches, keychains

07
Long-Term Vision
Where Mars wants to take this — verbatim synthesis
2–3 year goal
Full-time streamer. Not a side project — the main thing. All decisions should be made with this trajectory in mind.
Community size
"A decent side community — but not the biggest." Specifically not mainstream. The goal is depth and alignment, not raw scale. Design for community intimacy, not stadium energy.
Sponsorships
"Only for the game we play or system we play — nothing from places that have nothing to do with gaming." Hard filter on sponsorship direction. Gaming peripherals, game titles, controllers, streaming tools only. This is a brand integrity statement — honor it in all partnership comms.
Merch
Confirmed: eventually. All assets built with merch-readiness from day one. Vector source files maintained.

Open Items & Design Decisions

Two major items resolved in May 2026 direction session. Color palette and visual reference direction are now confirmed via avatar. Remaining open items are platform/operational — not creative blockers.

RESOLVED — Color palette. Palette confirmed from avatar design: red (#CC1111 range), black, white as primary; purple/violet as atmospheric accent. No client selection required. See Section 5. Closed May 2026.
RESOLVED — Visual reference direction. Avatar character design IS the reference. Art direction is confirmed anime style (JJK/Demon Slayer/MHA visual language). No external channel references needed to constrain direction — avatar provides the full creative anchor. Closed May 2026.
RETIRED — Mask design directions. Three mask design concepts that were queued for client selection are retired. Avatar is face-forward — no mask. This direction was based on the original shinobi concept which has been superseded. Retired May 2026. No client action required.
01
Streamers he watches — partial list provided. OG Slank and LMGMatto cited. Research both for content strategy reference — less critical for visual direction now that avatar anchors the aesthetic. Check both Twitch channels for content and community strategy reference.
02
Twitch account transition — rename ninjachef420 or create new account? Mars needs to decide: carry existing followers over by renaming, or start fresh with a clean @blazedninja account. Twitch allows one username change per 60 days. Recommendation: rename existing account — keep any organic followers already present.
03
TikTok LIVE Studio access — pending platform decision. Application submitted April 24. Mac compatibility to be confirmed once access is granted. See companion research brief. No action needed — monitoring only.
04
Avatar production pipeline — VTube Studio rigging and expression build. Avatar concept images confirmed. Next step: full rigging in VTube Studio with expression toggles mapped to confirmed pose set (neutral, smile, wink, open arms, finger guns). Phase 1 workaround: Rodney's Mac as desktop renderer receiving face tracking from Marrs's Android over shared Wi-Fi. Long-term path: Windows PC for full independence. Phase 1 workaround is live and operational.
05
Emote set production — timing TBD. Avatar expression range maps cleanly to a 5–6 emote set for Twitch Affiliate unlock. Production should be scoped into Phase 2 or 3 once Affiliate path is active. Does not block launch. Queue for Phase 2.
