The plan: Xbox streams natively to Twitch. Simultaneously, Xbox Remote Play mirrors the console into TikTok LIVE Studio on Mac via window capture. One game, two platforms live at once. No capture card required.

How It Works — Step by Step
Both streams run simultaneously from a single Xbox — no extra hardware
Twitch (Xbox native)

Connect and authorize Twitch account
Set stream quality and title
Press Start Broadcasting — live on Twitch
TikTok (LIVE Studio + Remote Play)
Xbox: Settings → Devices & Connections → Remote Features → Enable Remote Play
Mac: Xbox App → Remote Play → select console
TikTok LIVE Studio: Add Source → Window Capture → Xbox App
Add VTube Studio virtual camera as face layer

⚠ VTube + TikTok: Compatible via virtual camera, but TikTok's AI sometimes flags VTuber models as deepfakes. Toggle the "AI-Generated Content" label on your account to reduce auto-flagging risk. TikTok also throttles streams without a real human face — known platform-wide issue for all VTubers, not specific to this setup.
⚠ TikTok Live requirement: TikTok requires 1,000 followers to go live by any method. The full setup will be built and ready — it just won't activate until that milestone is hit. See the companion research brief for full details.

Mac note: If TikTok LIVE Studio doesn't work on Mac after access is approved, the fallback is OBS Studio + TikTok RTMP stream key — same result, slightly more setup. We'll confirm at the kickoff meeting.
